Hello, everyone and welcome to my page! I am so happy to have you. My name is Zoe Pereira, I am a third year student and TRU studying tourism because of my lack of experience on the topic. Yes, you heard me right. I have never backpacked Europe or Southeast Asia. I have never vacationed in Mexico, Hawaii, or the Bahamas. I have never been to Germany for Oktoberfest. That is not me. I moved to Kamloops from Ajax, Ontario when I was nine years old, driving in a van with my mom, sister, brother, dog, and bird. The exploration was lost on me as an adolescent; however, I think intrinsically this experience unleashed my love of travel and tourism. I’m good at tourism; that is my interest in it. A business degree seemed boring and lacking colour in a sea of potential applicants for jobs I would apply for in my future. Tourism 
Management was able to give me a chance to stand out and get interesting jobs in my future.
My site has been created to showcase some of my work throughout my fall semester as a fourth year tourism management student. Here, I will spotlight my depth and understanding of the complex industry that is tourism. I hope to grow this sight through the coming years to make this a memorandum of all my accomplishments thus far in this business.
